Fair Activities
There will be a lot to see and do at the Fair. Examples are:
4-H animals: goats, chickens, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, ...
4-H Clubs and what they do all year
Hands-on family activities at various locations throughout the fair
Animal shows, presentations, judging, and quiz bowls
Hay ride + small hay maze
Entertainment stage
Amusement rides
Fireworks (Friday night, July 22, rain date: Saturday, July 23)
Hot Air Balloon rides (Saturday - weather permitting)
Dunk Tank
Fun Fair food
Directions to the Morris County 4-H Fair
Parking
There will be plenty of parking available at the fairgrounds. Just follow directions of the parking crew. The suggested donation per car is $5 ($10 before fireworks on Friday night). There is no admission fee for the fair.
From the North
From Route 80, exit onto 206 South (near Exit 27)
206 South to Chester (junction of 206 & 513/24)
Right on 513/24 N by Larison’s Steak House
Continue about 1/2 mile or less and see 4-H Fair tents on your right.
From the South
From Route 78 or 287 exit onto 206 North near Bedminister
North on 206 for several miles until you reach the light at Chester.
Left on 513/24 (note Larison’s Steak House on left diagonal)
Continue on 513/24 for about 1/2 mile and see 4-H Fair tents on your right.
From the East
From Morristown, take Route 24 North through Mendham to Chester.
At the light at the corner of 24 and North Road Make a sharp Left to stay on Route 24 which is also called Main Street.
Continue on Main Street (AKA Route 24) to light at junction of 24 and 206.
Go straight across 206 for about 1/2 mile and see 4-H Fair tents on your right.
From the West
Go south on Route 513 (Mill Road) through Long Valley
Just before you enter Chester, see 4-H Fair tents on your left.
