4-H Families at the Fair 2022
Welcome 4-H families. Here you find information specific to 4-H members and their parents - from dunk tank forms, parking info, to overnight camping forms. We can't wait to see you at the fair!
Amusement Ride 4-H Wristbands
For the Amusement Rides at the Fair there are 4-H wristbands for sale at a special price. 4-H wristbands need to be pre-order by Wed., 7/20 – no sales after this date, the price is $30 and they are good for all four days of the Fair.
A discount price ($25) is offered during Family Set-up Weekend 7/16-7/17. Don't miss out. Sign up now.
4-H’ers are invited to help with the 4-H Dunk Tank during this year’s Morris County 4-H Fair. Remember, it gets hot at the Fair and the Dunk Tank is a great place to cool off and have fun!
The information below explains which 4-H’ers are eligible to work the dunk tank. Please return this completed form to the 4-H Office if you would like to help.
Requirements to qualify to sit in the Dunk Tank:
4-H’ers having completed grades 4-13
during regularly scheduled Dunk Tank hours
completed at least one 3-hour shift at another location during the Fair
filled out the Dunk Tank Form, complete with parent's signature
It takes many helpers to help put the fair together - before, during, and after. Please visit the Volunteer at the Fair page to see what you can do at Set-up weekend, during the fair, and at take-down and clean-up. THANK YOU!
Overnight Camping
Deadline: July 8
4-H families are invited to spend one or more nights at the fairgrounds in their tents in the designated camping area. This is especially helpful if you have an animal at the fair. Campers will have fun activities and will also help get the fair ready for the next day.
Please read the Overnight Guidelines carefully. All youth campers need a parent/guardian or chaperone to spend the night at the fairgrounds with them. Each person fills out an Overnight Fair Permission Form to be sent to the 4-H office at morris4h@njaes.rutgers.edu:
The deadline to submit the forms is July 8. Only those who fulfill the requirements stated in the Overnight Guidelines and have sent in their completed forms by July 8 are allowed to camp on the fairgrounds for the nights they specified.
Parking Pass
A parking pass will be available to all current and active 4-H families. They will be sent out via 4HOnline in a news flash before the Fair and can be shown at the entrance to the parking area when you arrive during fair hours. The parking fee - a suggested donation of $5 per car - helps offset the cost of the Fair. ($10 for the Fireworks on Friday night)
